Raleigh buys three Stock Building warehouses!

The city of Raleigh closed a deal on December 28, 2009 to buy three former Stock Building Supply warehouses off Gresham Lake Road for $3 million.11:30 a.m., Plans call for them to spend another $3 million to upgrade the properties so they can be used as field operations for the city's public Works and Parks and Recreation departments.

Raleigh City Manager Russell Allen says the property is part of the city's $200 million plan to decentralize its operations center on Peace Street, per Triangle Business Journal Article
